SouthWestern Art
When I took up a pencil and a sketch book in late 1980’s who knew that my art work would evolve to the point it is today. Being self-taught, I am always “in progress.” My artwork has been described as beautiful, inspirational, calming and spiritual. I created my work from my thoughts, something I have seen or from my emotions. These emotions help me to stay focused on the continuous effort to create. I have been told that my art looks like Frank Howells, Amado Pena and R.C. Gorman. At first, I wasn’t sure how to interpret that. I came to terms with it in this way; I am humbled to be in good company with these talented men who are famous. As for me I am famous only in my own mind.
